President Imhoff announced today that Teresa Proctor has been promoted to Dean of Students and Director of Enrollment Management for the Traditional Program.
“Teresa’s experience and passion for students is a perfect fit for this position,” Dr. Imhoff said in making the announcement. “She is dedicated to the Christian mission of Mid-Continent and has a strong work ethic.”
Teresa has worked at Mid-Continent since January 2008 when she was employed in the Advantage Program. Her most recent assignment was as Director of Traditional Admissions.
“I am excited about my new position and look forward to seeing how God’s plan unfold,” she said. Teresa said she has been inspired by a quote from former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell: “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure.”
Teresa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Mid-Continent and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Communication from Murray State University. In addition to her other duties, she also is an adjunct faculty member in the Advantage Program.
Teresa is married to Scott Proctor who currently is on active duty in the military. They have three sons -- Jon, Jake, and Nate.
