We are so excited to have you join us this year. Whether this is your first college experience or you’re transferring from a different school, we know a new place is always a transition – which is why we have TAG!
Transition And Guidance (TAG) is our student orientation program here at Mid-Continent. TAG Weekend is about meeting new people, getting to know our campus, and getting set up and informed for the coming school year. We’ll have time for registration, placement tests, and campus information as well as fun activities and opportunities to meet students, student leaders, and faculty and staff.
From check-in to registration to relationship building, we are here to help you feel at home. You will be in a small group of 10-15 students led by a student leader who will guide you through the weekend. Our TAG leaders have been training since the spring semester and are a fantastic group of people. They are really looking forward to meeting you!
TAG Weekend begins August 15th at 12:30 p.m.with check-in in the Cougar Center. If you will be taking a COMPASS test, make sure to leave yourself plenty of time to check in and move in before 2:00 p.m. Parent dismissal is at 2:30pm Friday, August 16th.
We cannot wait to meet you in August! If you have any questions about orientation, the check-in process, or the TAG Weekend schedule, please do not hesitate to contact me!
