Mid-Continent is dedicated to working with students from all areas of the world. We currently have students from more than 20 countries enrolled. This makes up a total of 17% of our student body.
We are currently in the process of developing an ESL (English as Second Language) program with a unique course that will combine the ESL program with an International Business degree. Keep checking our website for further developments on this program.
Following is a checklist of items that are required for admission. Please note that all items in bold are important functions for you to carry out. The other statements are merely for your information.
1. Application for Admission
Complete the application for admission.

2. Application Fee
Pay application fee of $100.00. You may pay this in the form of check, money order or by going to F.A.C.T.S link and paying by credit card.
3. Test Scores
Student must submit Test Scores for ANY test taken – ACT or SAT and/or TOEFL. It is recommended that students have at least an 18 on the ACT, an 860 on the SAT and a 460 on the TOEFL , or have completed 7 levels of English as a Second Language. Please submit any additional documentation that supports your present English proficiency level.
Student must submit a certified official transcript for his/her high school (secondary school). If applicable, transcripts must be accompanied by an English translation. The transcripts must clearly show all course work completed, date of graduation, cumulative GPA and class rank if available. Transfer students must submit high school transcripts AND all college/university transcripts. Student may be required to pay an additional fee is an outside service is needed to evaluate any supporting documents, transcripts, etc.
5. Financial Support
Student must complete Certification of Finances Form, verifying his/her ability to pay the cost of attendance for Mid-Continent University
6. Health & Insurance
Student must complete the Health and Insurance Form. Proof of immunization is mandatory.
7. Housing/Residential Life Information (if living on campus)
Complete and submit the information requested for a housing reservation. All items must be returned along with the deposit before a room and roommate will be assigned unless other arrangements are made.

When the above requirements have all been met, and the student has been formally accepted, the Institution (Mid-Continent University) will issue an I-20 to the student. The student is responsible for taking the steps necessary to receive a Student Visa from their respective country/embassy. The student is also responsible for acquiring all his/her travel documents, passport and any other pertinent documentation.
NOTE: All students receiving an I-20 from Mid-Continent University are officially registered with INS and are issued a SEVIS ID number. All students are required to pay the $200.00 SEVIS processing fee. To help with the process of paying your SEVIS fee we recommend you visit the website at www.ice.gov/sevis. We strongly recommend printing off the instructions that shows you how to properly complete the Western Union form to pay the SEVIS I-901 fee.
In the event a student returns to his/her homeland while attending Mid-Continent University, a signature from the appropriate school official at Mid-Continent University is required on the I-20. The Immigration at the Port of Entry requires this signature in order to readmit the student into the U.S.
