Christian Ministries

Larry Orange, D.Min. Chair

The Department of Christian Ministries includes a major and a minor in the subject area.

You will focus on General Education courses during your first two years of study. There are twelve hours of Bible and Christian related courses included in the General Education requirements. We will work closely with you during your Junior and Senior years to ensure an efficient and productive degree completion program. You can prepare by completing all of your secondary school requirements, develop an attitude of learning, and seeking God's will for you life as you prepare to study for ministry in church, community, and the world.

The Department of Christian Ministries is comprised of all faculty and staff who are involved with administration and instruction of Christian education, leadership and ministry courses. A chair, recommended to the President by the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs and dean of the college and appointed by the Board of Trustees, works with faculty of the department to provide courses necessary for student fulfillment of the college's Christian Ministries requirements to obtain either a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree. In addition, these personnel are also involved in community work with area ministers and Christian leaders in projects of mutual interests.
