Hello!  I am Dr. Amelia Wilson, and I am the Director of Student Services for Advantage.  I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to work with the students at Mid-Continent University! 

MCU prides itself on being the fastest growing college in the state of Kentucky. MCU works very hard to remove barriers that adults face in completing their education. One of these barriers is geography, and offering classes in 29 communities makes the goal of achieving one's associate or bachelor degree much more feasible for area residents. When adults learn that classes only meet one night a week and completion of the associate’s degree can be accomplished in two years, their hope is revived. The popular cohort format also allows a student to complete his or her degree with a group of people who provide camaraderie and support in a format that works for working adults. Because there is a minimum age and work experience required, the education can be tailored to have practical and instant application to the workplace.
