Guidelines for KEES "On-Track" Eligability
-
When the GPAs of KEES recipients are communicated by the Registrar to the Financial Aid Office, a simple ‘YES’ OR ‘NO’ will be reported as answer to whether a student is “on track to graduate”.
-
“On-track to graduate” reporting begins after a student has completed two years at MCU--beginning with the fall 2009 cohort.
-
First report to be after spring 2011, for all Fall 2009 entering students.
-
Defining “on track”: The university requirement of the minimum of 128 hours for a baccalaureate degree will be used to calculated earned hour progress standards for all students.
-
A student will be expected to earn at least 48 hours after the first 2 years (4 semesters) to be considered “on track”.
-
Note: Student should complete 24 hours during the first year or 2 semesters.
-
A student will be expected to earn at least 72 hours after the first 3 years (6 semesters) to be considered “on track”.
-
All developmental hours will be included in the count of hours in determining a student being “on track”.
-
The Financial Aid Director, in conjunction with the Traditional Financial Aid Officer, will furnish a list of 2009 Fall KEES recipients to the Registrar. A list will be provided each semester thereafter.
