Nathanael Bazzell

Nathanael Bazzell is an Instructor of History at Mid-Continent University.  He began working at Mid-Continent in July of 2008.  Since that time, he has also assisted with the Band and Choral programs.  Nathanael attended Murray State University and received his B.A. in 1997 followed by his M.A. in 2000.  Nathanael currently resides in Kirksey, Kentucky with his wife, Ashley.

Tassi Brinkley

Faculty

Tassi Brinkley has been an instructor in the Elementary Education department at Mid-Continent University for five years.  She holds an Associate’s Degree from Paducah Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and a Master of Arts in Education, both from Murray State University. She is currently attending Walden University to obtain an Educational Doctorate in Teacher Leadership. 

Professor Brinkley has lived in Wingo, Kentucky all of her life. She has been married to Michael Brinkley for 23 years, has one son, Brandon Brinkley, a psychology and counseling student at MCU, one daughter-in-law, Sarah Brinkley, an elementary education student at MCU, and one wonderful granddaughter, Jaidyn.  She is the song leader at Rozzell Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Ray Carroll

Faculty

Raymond E. Carroll, Th.D. is an associate professor in the James W. Cecil College of the Bible. Dr. Carroll holds a Bachelor of Arts from Union University (1983), a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1988), and a Th.D. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1995).  Dr. Carroll is has one daughter, Sharon, and one grand-daughter, Raelynn Nicole. He began working at Mid-Continent University in 2001 and teaches in both traditional and Advantage formats. In addition to working with Mid-Continent, he is self-employed and has been interim pastor for over twelve years.

James W. Cecil

Faculty

Dr. James W. Cecil, Dean Emeritus, Chair of the Missions and Evangelism Department of the James W. Cecil Baptist College of Bible, and Director of the University’s Global Mission Center, joined the faculty of Mid-Continent University (then Mid-Continent Baptist College of the Bible) on July 1, 1993, following 26 years of service with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention (twelve years in China and fourteen years as an international consultant on volunteerism). In addition to his service as a missionary and ministry with Mid-Continent University Dr. Cecil has served several churches as Pastor. Prior to entering full time Church related ministries, in 1955, he was a partner in the Flagstaff, Arizona accounting firm of McCauley and Cecil.

Dr. Cecil graduated from Northern Arizona University with a BS degree in accounting.  He also attended Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned the Master of Religion Education, Master of Divinity., and The Graduate Specialist in Education, degrees.  He earned the Doctor of Education Degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth Texas. He has done post Doctoral studies at Murray State University.  

Following the death of Katharine, his wife of nearly fifty years, he married Mary Fields Benson.  Dr. Cecil and Mary have eight children, twelve grand children and eighteen great grand children.  In addition to his teaching responsibilities the he, along with Mary, spend time ministering among the Native American Indian tribes of southern Arizona as Mission Service Corps Missionaries of the North American Mission Board.

Katie Dachs

Faculty

MCU’s lead finance professor since 2009, Katie Dachs teaches courses on business finance, macroeconomics, and microeconomics.  She also teaches several electives in her areas of interest, including personal finance, investing, and currency trading.  

Her research interests span a variety of fields, including stock market, currencies, personal financial planning, long term microeconomics, economics of education, and public finance.  Her current work focuses on efficiency analysis of the direct loan program and on the extreme events in the markets, changing volatility, and what it means for individual investors.  She holds a masters degree in Economics with an area in Finance from Murray State University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mid-Continent University.

Chad Davidson

Chad Davidson has served Mid-Continent University since 2007 as an adjunct professor in music. Mr. Davidson holds both a Bachelor and Master of Music Education from Murray State University.  In 2010 he began serving as the Instructor of Music for MCU. Mr. Davidson has served as the choral director for the Rural Ministry Conference for Lyon/Caldwell county, co-director of the Paducah area mass choir, member of the Kentucky Baptist Men’s Chorale and has lead music conferences for the Kentucky Baptist Convention, West Union Baptist Association and the Blood River Baptist Association. Mr. Davidson is married to Kimberly Jenkins Davidson of Glasgow, KY and they have two children, Reagan and Andrew. Mr. Davidson enjoys spending time with his family by coaching baseball, soccer and basketball.

Robert Desnoyers

Robert Desnoyers is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology and Counseling at Mid-Continent University.  Previously, he worked in admissions for the University of Connecticut for over twenty years, and was in charge of orientation and new student programs. He also served in the military and served a tour of duty as an Infantry Platoon Leader. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Springfield College and a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Connecticut.  He has been married for 40 years and has two sons and six grandchildren.

Don Embry is an instructor of Christian Ministry and Biblical Studies in the James W. Cecil Baptist College of the Bible and an instructor of Management in the Mid-Continent Management Degree program. Don serves also as Staff Evangelist for Mid-Continent University and Director of the Christian Ministry Certificate Program. Mr. Embry earned a BA degree from Mid-Continent Baptist Bible College in 1982, an MACE degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1992, and a MAT degree from The Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA in 2007. He has served in six Baptist Churches in three states for over thirty years before joining the faculty of Mid-Continent University.  Mr. Embry has been married to Shirley for forty-six years and they have one daughter, a son-in-law, and one granddaughter residing in Monroe, GA.

John Eveland

John Eveland began teaching mathematics courses for Mid-Continent University as an adjunct instructor in October of 2008, and he began teaching for Mid-Continent full-time in August of 2009.  In addition to his work at MCU, he is also employed as the Mathematics Department Chairman at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School in Madisonville, KY.

 In 2001, John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Murray State University with a major in mathematics and a minor in global studies.  After finishing this degree, he enrolled at the University of Kentucky where he earned a Master of Arts degree in mathematics in 2003.  While teaching, he has continued to further his education at Murray State University (Rank 1 Certification in Secondary Instruction in 2009) and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Arts in Christian Education in 2010).  Since 2001, John has taught mathematics courses for Murray State University, the University of Kentucky, Owensboro Community and Technical College, and Madisonville Community and Technical College.

 Currently, John lives in Owensboro, KY with his wife of nine years, Jessica, and their three sons.  In addition, John and his wife are in the process of adopting a fourth child from China.

Robert Gail

Dr. Robert Gail spent four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam conflict.  He was an intelligence officer with the Office of Special Investigations.

Dr. Gail started his business career with Duty Free Shoppers, the world’s largest retail company that markets to tourists.  At Duty Free Robert worked in store operations, merchandising, and human resources as the corporate management training director.  With his extensive background Dr. Gail was promoted to Retail Operations Director.  In that position he conceived, wrote, and managed the management development program.  It was during this time that he realized that he wanted to be in post-secondary education.  He received his Masters Degree from University of Portland and a Doctor of International Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. 

Prior to joining MCU, Dr. Gail taught at Guam Community College, University of Guam, and University of Phoenix.  He is the proud father of two daughters.

Joseph Galloway

Joseph Warren Galloway has taught math and music in MCU's Advantage Program since 2006.  Galloway is a native of Beaumont, TX, and now resides in Elizabethtown, KY. He is a 1976 graduate of Minooka (IL) Community High School and a 1980 graduate of Lewis University (Romeoville, IL; BA, Music).  Galloway earned a Master of Church Music (Music Theory and Voice), at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville in 1983, and a Master of Science (Mathematics) at Western Kentucky University in 2005.  Galloway has been the music director at Tunnel Hill Baptist Church in Elizabethtown since 1980.  He is also a full-time math faculty member at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.  Galloway and his wife, Claudia, are the parents of Beth, Lydia, Claudia, and Carlos.

Darlene Gibson is currently a full-time English instructor and is the Director of Institutional Effectiveness at MCU.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Counseling with minors in Biblical Studies and English from Midcontinent University.  She also holds a Master of Arts in English from Murray State University.

Ronald Hockin

Faculty

Ronald Hockin is the Assistant Professor of Business Management at MCU.  He also teaches classes in Sociology, Psychology, Health Service, Management, and Group Dynamics.  He holds a Master of Science in Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington, a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University.  He and his family currently reside in Louisville, Kentucky.

Ed Hogg

Ed Hogg is currently president emeritus of Trinity Theological Seminary of Newburgh, IN.  He held positions as Academic Dean, VP for Academic Affairs, Executive VP, and President from 1992-2005.  Prior to his positions at Trinity, he worked in the medical field at the McNeil Island FCI in Tacoma, WA.  While working at McNeil, he taught courses in management, leadership, and business and health care administration for Chapman University and Trinity as an adjunct faculty member. 

 Prior to McNeil Island, he served as Academic Dean of The International Graduate School of Theology in Honolulu, HI.  He says, “The Hawaiian Islands are peaceful and beautiful.  I hope to return there to live after I retire.”  Dr. Hogg received his B.S. from the University of Nebraska; a M.S. in Business with emphasis in Health Care Admin from the University of Northern Colorado; a M.S. in HR Management Development  from Chapman, an Ed. D. in Educational Admin from USC; and a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University.  He also has graduate degrees in theology and religious studies and has taught courses in theology, religious studies, business, human services, HR management development and health care administration at both undergraduate and graduate levels.  Dr. Hogg is married and has four daughters.

Debra Hudson

Dr. Debra Hudson is Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at MCU. Utilizing her 15 plus years leadership experience in the field of administration and teaching in Christ-centered higher education for adults, Dr. Hudson supports the ADVANTAGE program to continue MCU’s tradition of quality curriculum and instruction for adult learners. She looks forward to leading the MCU faculty in developing new programs to meet the educational needs of today’s adult learners. 

Formerly from Colorado Christian University, Dr. Hudson served as the Center Director for both the Southern and Western Colorado Adult Learning Centers, Director of Student Services and Development, and Acting Director of the Educator Licensing Programs for the College of Adult and Graduate Studies and Assistant Dean of Academic Services.  As an Assistant Professor, Dr. Hudson taught and developed undergraduate and graduate courses for CCU’s adult learners in education, critical thinking, prior learning assessment, adult studies, and research. 

Dr. Hudson holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management with emphasis in Management of Human Resources and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado Christian University, and a doctorate in Education and Human Services from Colorado State University. She currently serves as President of the governing council of the Christian Adult Higher Education Association.

Dr. Hudson and her husband, Bill, are “newlyweds” and recently relocated from the Denver, Colorado area. They are proud parents of four grown children and eight grandchildren.

Franklin Lewis

Faculty

Franklin Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Lee University, a Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Science Education from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, and a Master of Science in Public Health from Walden University.  He is currently working on his PhD. in Public Health: Epidemiology. He worked for several years at Focus on the Family before teaching.  Afterwards, he started teaching fifth grade, then middle school, and then high school Biology.  He is the oldest of seven children, but is unwed.  He does, however, have 20 nieces and nephews.

Ray Lytle is the Dean of the Mid-Continent Library and one of the Business Law facilitators for the Advantage Bachelor’s program.  Ray grew up in southern Illinois and he has a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University, a law degree from University of Illinois and a library master’s from Indiana University.

Before coming to Mid-Continent, Ray worked for 19 years for the Tulane’s law library in New Orleans.  His two sons, Bradley and Kevin, reside in New Orleans.  He is a member of the McCracken County Information Network.

Edwin Marshall

Edwin Marshall is a fulltime Instructor of Business Management for the Advantage Program. He grew up in Charleston, SC and lived most of my adult life in Greensboro, NC. He has been married nearly 31 years and has a son who lives in Atlanta, Ga. He relocated to Louisville in 2002 and has worked with Mid-Continent since 2003.
Professor Marshall's holds an undergraduate degree in History and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Management from Capella University. His dissertation addresses various aspects of transformational leadership. He also has 30 years of management experience with an international communications firm.

W. E. Mason

Bill Mason is the Chair of the English Department at Mid-Continent University.  He taught English for twelve years in secondary schools before joining the staff at MCU.  Dr. Mason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and English from Blue Mountain College, a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Art in English Education from the University of Mississippi, and a Doctor of Philosophy in English Education from the University of Mississippi.  He and his wife, Martha, have a son, William, a daughter, Mauri Howell, and seven grandsons.

Dr. Mason loves teaching at Mid-Continent because he has the freedom to share his faith in Christ with students and to love them in a Christ-like way.  He does not see his work at MCU as merely a job, but as a ministry.  He cherishes the opportunities provided for him to take part in expanding the Kingdom of God.

Debra McCuiston

A professor at Mid-Continent University since the fall of 2000, Debra McCuiston is currently an instructor of Biology and Environmental Science here at the University and was honored by her peers in 2007 by receiving the President’s Teaching Excellence Award.  She is also the acting ADA Coordinator on campus and Director of Instructional Support.  Mrs. McCuiston received her B.S. from Murray State University in 1975 and her M.S. in Biology from Murray State University in 2004.

She is very active in her local church teaching, working in the food pantry, and participating in the music ministry.  She enjoys mission trips and hopes to do more mission work in the future.  She and her husband Ronnie have two daughters, Melissa and Beth.

Jodi McKnight

Jodi McKnight is a graduate of Capella University, with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology.  She holds a  Master of Education in Community Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lindenwood University.  Before coming to Mid-Continent University, her teaching experience came from Southeastern Illinois College and National American University, where she was an adjunct instructor.  During that time, she collected over 10 years experience in the clinical realm serving as the Director of Behavioral Health at a community mental health center.  She supervised programs in substance abuse, outpatient mental health, psychiatric rehabilitation, assertive community treatment, community support programs, youth services, as well as psychological assessment oversight.  Her current research lies in the fields of education, anxiety, and online learning.

Paul Melvin

Faculty

Paul Melvin is a native son of Southern Illinois and spent more than twenty years working in and around the mining industry across the Illinois Coal Basin.  He began his post secondary education as a non-traditional student while working and attending school in the evenings, completing an AAS in Mechanical Engineering from Madisonville Community college in 1998.  At that time, work obligations precluded the pursuit of a higher degree.  A few years later, circumstances permitted him to leave work and complete a BS in Business Economics and a BS in Financial Management at Southern Illinois University in 2003.  During the final semester of undergraduate school, while exploring available options within the mining industry, an opportunity to attend graduate school at SIU presented itself.  Electing to pursue the advanced degree, he graduated with a Ph. D. in Economics from Southern Illinois University in 2008.  Prior to coming to MCU as a full time faculty member in 2009, Dr. Melvin taught classes at SIU and John A. Logan College.

Jerry Muniz

Faculty

Jerry Muniz graduated from High School in Brookport, IL in 1966 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Murray State University in 1970 with majors in Communication and English Literature. He continued school at Murray State and received a Master of Science degree in Communications in December of 1971. At the same time he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve.

He spent over 21 years in the banking industry, working first for Citizens Bank and Trust Co. in Paducah, KY, then at Downstate National Bank in Brookport, leaving that bank as Senior Vice President to accept the position of Dean of Students at Mid-Continent College in November of 1994.

Before and during his career in banking, he served in the U.S. Army Reserve for just over 20 years, retiring with the rank of Major. He served in a basic training unit for 14 years (four as a Company Commander) and then for almost seven years in two USAR schools, initially in personnel administration and finally as an instructor for the Command and General Staff Officer's College. He also served a six month state-side assignment during Operation Desert Storm.

During his first five years at Mid-Continent, Jerry served as Dean of Students. During the past 11 years, he has been the primary instructor of all of MCU's Communications courses. As an Assistant Professor, he now serves as Lead Instructor in Communications for both the traditional and Advantage divisions of the university. In April of 2008, he received the President's Teaching Excellence Award.

Jerry and his wife Charlotte have been married for 37 years and have two children. He has been active in church for over 45 years. He currently teaches the Auditorium Bible Class on Sundays and also serves on the church's Board of Trustees. He and his wife are active in civic affairs and serve on their local Community Betterment Committee.

Edwin Nyamwala

Edwin Odipo Nyamwala was born and raised in Kenya, Africa. He lived there while earning his first degree in Construction Engineering, then worked for Barclay's Bank of Kenya until 2000. He attended MCU’s Traditional side from 2000-2004, earning a Bachelor of Science in Management and Mathematics. During that time at MCU, Odipo was a two time All-American soccer player, and as team captain, led the Cougars to the to the national quarterfinals in 2001, and the national finals in 2002. His record of 74 goals as the all-time leading scorer for the Cougars has never been broken. MCU’s current marketing instructor also holds a Master of Business Administration from Murray State University, and is currently working on his Doctorate in the same at Northcentral University.

Dr. Larry Orange, Dean of Mid-Continent University’s James W. Cecil Baptist College of the Bible, Chair of the Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry Departments, and Director of the Bivocational Center became part of the Mid-Continent faculty in January of 1998. His ministry covers 47 years of service as pastor, teacher, and Director of Missions.  He has also served the North American Mission Board as consultant in Bivocational Ministry and Church Planting.
Dr. Orange is a graduate of Campbellsville University with a BS degree in English.  He has a MA in Education from Eastern Kentucky University and a MDiv and D.Min from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
He and his wife, Janet, now live in Mayfield, Kentucky. They have three children and eleven grandchildren.

Dr. Roach graduated from The University of the Cumberlands and The Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with degrees in Psychology and Counseling. He established a private practice in Brandon, FL, and also was the director for the Tampa Bay Christian Counseling Center for the Tampa Bay Baptist Association. Dr. Roach has seen over 22,000 hours of counseling and has 18 years of teaching experience. His areas of expertise include relationship building and childhood anxiety and depression. He has served as Chair of Behavioral Studies for the past twelve years at Mid-Continent University. He represents the Faculty to the trustees and holds the position of Associate Vice President for Compliance at MCU. He is married to his college sweetheart, Linda, and has three children.

Faris Sahawneh

Faris Sahawneh is a native of the country of Jordan in the Holy Land.  He studied electrical engineering at the Jordan University of Science and Technology with emphasis in computer science.   He worked for a Canadian computer company located in Jordan while in college. In 1995, he transferred to Mid-Continent and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with minor in biblical languages.  After graduating from MCU, he worked for MCU as the Director of Computer Services until 2001.    He graduated from Murray State University in 2004 with a Master of Science in Telecommunication System Management with an emphasis in computer networking and telephony. Currently, he is enrolled at North Central University as a doctoral student specializing in computer forensics and information security.  Mr. Sahawneh teaches CIS for both the traditional and Advantage classes at MCU.  He also serves as the Director for the Biblical Creation Center at MCU.   He serves the flock of Hardmoney Baptist Church as their senior pastor. Mr. Sahawneh is married to Mitzi Hopper Sahawneh, also a graduate of MCU; they have three children and currently live in Boaz, Kentucky. His mission in life is to spread a passion for the glory of God by making joyful disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ who hope in God from all people.

Jaime Summerville

Jaime Summerville is currently the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences as well as an instructor of Mathematics at MCU.  He has also taught Mathematics at Tennessee Technological University and Morehead State University.  He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science both from Murray State University, and a Ph.D from the University of Mississippi.  He and his wife, Debbie, have three boys (Nathan, Joshua, and Jeron) and three girls (Emily, Bethany, and Elyssa).

Tommy Taylor

Tommy Taylor is currently an instructor of Business Management at MCU. He has been an adjunct instructor since the beginning of the Advantage Program in 2000. He became a full-time instructor in 2007 teaching Introduction to Business, Systems Approach to Organizational Change, Management Issues, Policy & Strategy, and International Management.

Professor Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Murray State University and a Master of Business Administration from Murray State. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration-Management from Northcentral University in Prescott, AZ.

After graduating from Murray State, he worked as Credit Manager for a manufacturing firm and later a transportation company. He has also been employed as Customer Accountant and in Quality Control at a manufacturing company, all in western Kentucky. In 2005, He was employed at Mid-Continent University as Director of Business Operations while teaching as an adjunct faculty.

He and his wife, Susan, currently live in Paducah, KY. They are both active in church. He is the church pianist and has served as Treasurer for three years as well as a member of the Worship Committee, Finance Committee, and Administrative Council.

C.J. Turner is the Associate Dean of Online Learning, the Online Learning Center Coordinator, and a Bible Instructor. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at Mid-Continent Baptist Bible College, Mayfield, KY in 1998, a Masters of Divinity in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY in 2003, and a Masters of Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY in 2009, by the grace of our Lord. He was born in Munich, West Germany and is now a naturalized U.S. Citizen.

Professor Turner is a committed follower of Jesus Christ. He has been married to his wife, Mitzi, for thirteen years, and God has blessed them with two healthy children, who have each professed their devotion to Christ as Lord. Joseph Poff, their eldest is a TSG Technician for UPS in Louisville, KY. He and his wife gave them their first grandchild January 2010. Jennifer Poff, their youngest, is working on a D.M.A. (Doctorate of Musical Arts) in Voice Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Professor Turner served in the U.S. Army as a medic for 12 years. During his time of service, he had the opportunity to serve in Iraq for the Gulf War earning the Combat Medical Badge. While serving he has visited various countries and states most all in the line of duty. He had the opportunity to sail several bodies of water in the line of duty as well.

He loves to teach and continues to hope that God will use him to serve God’s Kingdom. He has a passion for getting church members to become productive members of God’s Kingdom.

William C. Ward

William C. Ward is Associate Professor of Accounting at Mid-Continent University.  His full-time status started February 2002, after spending one year as an adjunct professor in 2001.  After serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1972 through 1975, Ward earned his first degree, an A.A.Sc. in Business Administration.  He continued his education from Western Carolina University, completing his B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting.  After full use of the G.I. Bill for educational assistance, Ward achieved his M.B.A. degree from University of Central Oklahoma.  Ward earned a Post-Graduate Certificate in Accounting from Davenport University in 2006.  He is halfway through the program for a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Northcentral University (as of July 2010).

 Ward believes in lifelong learning and stresses to the students to pursue the passion placed within the individual by our Heavenly Father.  He earned a Bachelor of Ministry degree from Mid-Continent University in December 2002.  Ward enjoys studying the Bible.  He has earned degrees (Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theology, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Ministry) from Christian Life School of Theology, located in Columbus, GA.  Ward currently teaches an adult Sunday School class for his church. Ward is an ordained minister since March 2003.

Ward has over twenty-five years of experience in corporate accounting and finance.  He is a Certified Fraud Examiner, awarded April 2007.  Being able to blend corporate experience with many years of academic training is an exciting part of being a member of faculty for Mid-Continent University.  Coupled with the expectation of presenting each class from the Christian worldview, serving at this Christian university is ministry unto our Lord and Savior, King Jesus.  May His kingdom come and His will be done.

Ward is married to Pam Ward, a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist.  The couple married in December 1999, and the blended family has five children and five grandchildren.  They reside in Paducah and believe each day is a blessing from the Lord and are totally dependent on His wonderful hand of provision.  To God be the glory for any good achieved in life!

Stephen Wilson

Faculty

Stephen Douglas Wilson was born near Harrodsburg, Kentucky. A first generation college graduate, he eventually was awarded a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D.—all from the University of Kentucky. In graduate school, he majored in history and has written a book on the historical Jesus entitled In the Fullness of Time. He has also published numerous articles in his field and has been a college professor since 1983.  In 2002 he was named as the Dean of Arts and Sciences at Mid-Continent.  Two years later, he took over his present position as Vice-President of Academic Affairs.
