Mid-Continent’s accelerated bachelor’s program in Psychology and Counseling is designed to help adults understand and predict human behaviors. It helps prepare students for any field that requires working with people and also prepares them for graduate school. Surveys of employers and psychology graduates* indicate that the jobs obtained by psychology majors with a bachelor’s degree are most often in social service and business settings, such as:
Molded for working adults aspiring for a bachelor’s degree, adults can complete this degree by attending face-to-face classes one night a week from 6 to 10 p.m. or ONLINE. The interactive cohort setting provides abundant opportunities for adults to learn from their professors and peers. The program consists of 16 classes taken consecutively (48 credits) in 18 months of instruction. A prerequisite class of General Psychology is required. Students are classified as full-time. Individuals entering the program must transfer 45-80 credit hours from a regionally accredited university.
