Associate of Science

Mid-Continent’s accelerated Associate of Science with electives in business administration* is designed to help adults with little or no credit hours earn a degree. The accelerated undergraduate program is designed to include all general education courses required by the state of Kentucky for an associate’s degree. To be accepted into this program, students must either be a high school graduate or have their GED accomplished. A minimum of 22 years of age and two years work experience are also required. Throughout the associate program, students will work with faculty members who have practical experience in their areas of instruction. This interactive environment provides ample opportunities for adults to learn from their peers as well.

Adults can complete their associate degree by attending face-to-face classes one night a week from 6 to 10 p.m. The program consists of approximately 24 months of instruction, equaling 60 semester hours. Students are classified as fulltime. Individuals can transfer credit hours from a regionally accredited university.

*Elective courses may vary depending upon current offerings.
