This module will explore the role of business research, the research process, ethical issues in business research, problem definition and research proposal, exploratory research and qualitative analysis, overview of the survey research, basic methods of communication with respondents, measurements and scaling concepts, attitude measurements, questionnaire design, review of statistical theory, data analysis and presentation, editing and coding of raw data, transforming data into information, basic data analysis including descriptive statistics, tests of differences, communication research results including report presentation and follow-up. Video and critical thinking cases will be utilized to enhance the student learning process.
