This module will explore the strategic importance of ethics in business in securing the competitive advantage. Learners will be taught that ethical behavior can give a company a significant competitive advantage to its rivals, acceptance of ethical standards including moral reasoning, utilitarianism, moral rights, justice, and caring, the impact of ethics of markets and prices, environmental, consumer, and employee issues. Internet exercises and textbook cases will be part of adult learner evaluation.
