This module will explore the field of International Human Resource Management and its impact on Human Resource Management in the global arena. The course will focus on employment planning, forecasting, staffing, compensation and benefits, training and management development, labor and employee relations, and health and safety in global corporations. Special attention will be paid to the impact of national culture on employment laws and regulations, benefits, taxation, repatriation, discrimination, overseas compensation, and labor relations. The alignment of International Human Resources Management activities with corporate strategy will also be addressed.
