Rian Puckett
Head Women's Basketball Coach

Rian Puckett is beginning his first year as Head Coach for the Mid-Continent University Women’s Basketball Team. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts and a Masters in Arts from Bethel College in McKenzie, TN.
           

Coach Puckett played for Bethel College for three years and participated in the 2001-2002 NAIA Div. II National Tournament where the team advanced to the Sweet Sixteen. That season Coach Puckett was named an NAIA Academic All-American. He also played for Mid-Continent University’s inaugural season in 2000-2001. That year he was named the team Co-MVP and was named to the Mid-East All-Region Team.
           

Prior to coaching at Mid-Continent University, Coach Puckett spent two years as a Graduate Assistant for the Bethel College Men’s Basketball team. During his two years there, he helped the Wildcats accumulate 40 wins.
                      

Coach Puckett now lives in Union City, TN with his wife Michelle and their one year old son, Colby.
