Dear prospective student,

Mid-Continent University enthusiastically presents to you an invigorating, meaningful, workable education solution that makes previously unreachable goals achievable. We offer an application approach to education where learning is useful immediately. The Advantage Program is designed for the adult who already has work and life experience.

You have the opportunity to attend college with your own peers, rather than with the 18-22 year old, where you can learn from others’ experiences as well as from textbooks and instructors. This will work for you because typical access barriers are removed. We are already partnering with many communities, both large and small, to make education locally accessible; if we do not have classes available in your location, we will partner with you to make education accessible in your community. Our professors come to your location. Books are delivered to you at the site where you attend. Financial aid, business, and registration services are offered on site as well. The accelerated five-week classes only meet one night a week, minimizing work and family interference. Classes are small, allowing personal assistance from highly qualified professors. You progress through each five-week class with the same group of supportive class members. If you have two years of college already, generally you can finish your Bachelor’s Degree in 18 months of instruction. If you have never attended college, we now have an Associate’s Degree that you can complete in two years by attending classes one night a week. You also have the opportunity to have your work training assessed for potential college credit to further accelerate your educational journey.
