Rocky Stinson
Head Softball Coach

Rocky Stinson enters his second year as the head coach for the Lady Cougars Softball team. Prior to being the softball coach Stinson served as the assistant baseball coach at MCU.

Coach Stinson, a former baseball player at Mid-Continent University, brings strong leadership to the softball program. As a former pitcher and utility player for the Cougars, Coach Stinson knows how to get the best out of his athletes and has the knowledge to bring MCU to the top of a very tough TranSouth Confernce.

Rocky is married and resides in Murray, Kentucky.

Nicole Marshall
Assistant Softball Coach

Nicole Marshall is beginning her first season as assistant softball coach at MCU. Marshall who was the head softball coach at Pike-Liberal Arts Academy in Troy, AL, has experience playing and coaching. Marshall who played softball at NCAA D-I Western Kentucky University for two years before transfering to Huntingdon College to finish up her career was a four year collegiate starter at catcher. In her two seasons at Huntingdon College, Marshall was a two time Great South Athletic Conference Catcher, All-Great South Tournament Team (catcher), and was voted Female Athlete of the Year at Huntingdon Collge in her senior year.

Coach Marshall will primarily work with the pitchers and catchers. Marshall will also help Coach Stinson with gameday strategy and recruiting. One of her main areas of concentration will be developing some of the Lady Cougars new talent.

Christa Bakemeir
Assistant Coach

Coach Bakemeir joins the staff after a successful career as a pitcher and centerfielder for the Lady Cougars. Her duties will primarily consist of working with the outfielders and pitchers.
